Deadline Disaster!

The hand in day for our assignment didn't go as planned. I was up late Wednesday night making sure I had everything saved and ready for printing. I was shocked however, to find that the work I had saved on my USB was gone. I came in early just in case something went wrong, but I didn't expect to find half of my work missing. I had only 3 hours to get my work back up to standard. This proved difficult as their was much more to do than I had anticipated. With the help from some people I managed to hand in my work with just 2 minutes to spare! I felt rotten. This was the second time that I had been the last to hand in my work.

I am glad, however, that my A3 assignment should achieve a pass first time. I am quite confident in this, although something always seems to go wrong with me. I don't think I will achieve a merit, as I didn't have time to print out all of my work, but I can have the chance to upgrade this after Steve has marked the assignments.

To me I don't think the Picture This assignment went as well as it should of, and Sorry John. You told me to be more confident with myself, but here I am once again doubting my skills. I really am going to try much harder to be confident in my work. I always think my work could be better though, and I guess this is the reason why I am not as confident as I should be.

My target for the next semester, is to make sure I am not the last person to hand in my work. I am also going to make sure that I am comfortable and confident throughout the next two years. I am going to head for a merit on the next assignments. I guess that if I can achieve a merit then I would be in a comfortable position with myself in the course. By achieving this will also make sure that I am confident.

So I am saying this: Bring on the next semester. I will achieve as many merits as I can, and I will be as confident as I can. Steve, I can do this.

I would also like to thank Craig A, James S, and anyone else who helped me organise myself for the deadline. I really don't think I could of been ready if it wasn't for you guys. I WILL do better next semester.
