The first week back has been very interesting, due to the fact that we have now begun to create our first website for the course. This is also the first website I have ever created so I am really looking forward to it. I am glad to find that one of my team mates managed to achieve a merit, as well as several other members in the class. I am really inspired by their grades. I am going to try much harder this term, and I am going to try and make sure my feedback group works as good as my last one did. The feedback groups are really helpful if you work together.
I am glad that I managed to achieve a pass for my Back to BASIC assignment. I was hoping to pass this assignment first time as I enjoyed it and I put a lot of effort into getting it up to scratch.
We have finally got the chance to use Dreamweaver, which I am glad bout. I have been wanting to learn how to use this program for some time. My first attempt at it, however, didn't go very well. Over the weekend I am going to try to get to grips with this program, as I feel we will be needing it a lot more. I will also need to complete my referral work for my Picture This assignment.
I look forward to the meeting with John on Monday. I find his lessons are very helpful. I am also looking forward to the trip to London. I am wanting to see what Steve has in store for us on that day.
The second assignment that we received on Thursday was one that I will fear the most. A graded presentation. I must make sure that I practice as much as I can, as nerves will get the best of me if I am not prepared enough. I don't think I am the only person dreading this assignment, but I do want to learn to present correctly without making a fool of myself. It is a very professional skill and will definitely be needed further on in life, so I am glad that we are learning now rather than when it's too late.

Marc, this is a very useful website if your worried about presentations http://www.presentationhelper.co.uk/presentationtips.htm I read a similar book when I did a lot of presentations. Steve went over a lot of this when we had the colour presentation but this just goes into a bit more detail. And this one might help you if your a bit dodgy with your nerves http://www.presentationhelper.co.uk/presentation_nerves.htm
This is one of the things I use whenever giving presentations, What's the Worst that Could Happen? Worth a read but nothing can make you better at presentations by doing them time and time again.
