I like your final version of the design. It looks like there is more to it now. I think it was missing something before because your had just put that place holder on the left side. Have you decided against using the cartoon character now?

I really like your logo design very H&M meets Design Mechanics.

I like that there is something going on with the background too, I can seen a variation in colour tone.

I think it's a good choice not to use the cartoon character. It could of gone 1 of 2 ways and if it went the wrong way could have made your portfolio look very unprofessional.

Your MP logo is also much better now and looks a lot more like a P.

Looks much better now Marc, but I don't think that blue goes with the grey. Maybe tone down the grey or bring up the blue?

You also seem to be in 2 minds whether to make every with harsh edges or round edges. Your main content box has square edges while the rest has rounded, and I think you need to decided which way you want to go and make either everything rounded or everything straight-edged.

All in all though, an improvement and much more work-focused.

This is definitely your strongest design so far Marc. I think it is a much better idea to include images of your work down the left than a "cartoon guy".

Cheers guys,
Yeah I can see what you mean now. I guess the cartoon guy was just a mistake and I shouldn't have brought it forward.

I think I will go for all straight edges, as it will keep file size to a minimum. Especially as the background is an image.

I think I will bring up the blue, although this is something that I can experiment with.

I like this improved design the best but I would change you logo. MP means Member of Parliment and it could confuse a user at first because you title reads MP Marc Pugh.

Ed Balls is Normantons MP and you just cant compete with a name like that!

Hi Marc,

This feedback is more based on your final design [web version]. If you are putting the images on an angle I would suggest that you do the same angle consistently across them all. And also slant the iTunes image as well as this seems to be the only image that doesn't slant.
